eclib-tools software package provides Programs for modular symbols and elliptic curves over Q, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclib-tools
eclib-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclib-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclib-tools *
You will get with eclib-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
